RAVAGE

I don't feel like talking much, but I know my heart beats for something.

the savage horde ravage calls it. at least it's what it would be called if others knew more about it. this horde is much more lethal than your standard infected populace. they know how to corral and lure. they know how to encircle and strike. they know how to be quiet, and when to be vicious. they understand that humans innately fear them, and use this to their advantage. most of them are still mindless, but they are all directed by one echo: ravage. ravage's intelligence is steadily rising and as he does, the horde increases in savagery and danger. this particular group is small, only numbering about a hundred strong, but each day it grows.

ravage has only one goal: feast upon humanity and wipe them out for the ugly blight that they are. ravage himself has no morality or sense of right or wrong, but he believes in one thing: "humans are meant to be killed." he takes no prisoners, make no exceptions, and kills anyone in his way. other echoes that provide help or protection or whisperers who do not fall in line are destroyed or converted. humanity must be purged, one way or another.

echoes and whisperers are not his intended target. ravage generally stays away from them. he cannot control them like he can the lesser infected horde but he can sense them and provide suggestive urges to them. echoes that join him get to keep their free will and also gain a small portion of the savage horde to keep the echo safe. whisperers are to remain by ravage's side for further study. he likes to learn, and whisperers to him are something of an oddity.
