HISTORY Who or what Lyg once was has been well and truly lost to time, and time has not been kind. This echo has changed much in the many long years since they were infected. Skin turned a dark, ashen hue with strange glowing marks, hair gone wispy and wild and the same indeterminate shade. Even stranger are the elongated, pointed ears and the complete lack of any primary sex characteristics. The early years of Lyg's infection are fuzzy and blurred to their mind; a wash of chaotic emotions and ravening hunger that could not be sated. Then the changes fully set in and the emotional shifts became less violent. Shucking all traces of human vestige, they took the name "Lyg" something that wouldn't be a problem for decaying vocal chords. Over the years their body underwent some rather drastic changes, removing all question as to their complete lack of humanity. Lyg embraced their status as a monster, all the time fighting tooth and nail to retain their mind. Becoming a ravening beast would suck all the fun out of this twilit half-life they had be granted. They made pacts with foolish humans, hunted down solitary stragglers to toy with before devouring, and generally amused themself. So far they haven't deigned to join a group of other echos, preferring a more solitary lifestyle. | ||||||||
