[attr="class","boxas"] Riley Dawson Personality Not many would expect Riley Dawson to have come from a military background. She certainly does not command a great deal of respect for authority figures. Nowadays, she seems to have more in common with Drifters, then the military. And over the past few years, that is exactly who she has been traveling with. Riley has become a bit wilder, since her military days.At her heart, though, Riley is a very kindhearted person. Even when she was with the military, she always had compassion for other people. It had always been for the defense of those who couldn't defend themselves that she had gone out of the Dome. However, in her last days there, it was becoming quite clear that the leadership had different ideas. Now, under the name of Dusty, she has found a new purpose and freedom. To her, the lines between right and wrong are very clear. She has seen that there are people who live outside the dome, who need to be protected. And this is one form of dedication that remains with her. Add to that, her training from both the Hunters she traveled with and her time with the Nevada Dome's special forces and Dusty has become a fairly formidable individual. She knows how to survive and how to make the most out of a limited amount of supplies. Behind that wild girl who likes to joke around and drink and have a good time, is a sharp and tactical mind that is always studying her surroundings. History She used to be known as Riley Dawson. She used to be a proud Captain with the Nevada Dome Special Forces. But, now she is simply known as Dusty. And this is just the way she prefers it.She had grown up in the Nevada Dome. And for a time, it seemed to be a decent life. Not an easy life, but a decent one. When she came of age, Dusty was quick to join the ranks of the Military. And she rose up quickly through the ranks. She had shown proficient skill, that she was taken into the Special Forces program. Dedicated to scouting the nearby areas, the Special Forces traveled in small scouting parties for extended amounts of time and undertook dangerous missions. They often secured supplies and weapons for the Dome. At least that was their original purpose. The General who was in command of the forces of the Dome, however, had started to send troops out for more erratic reasons. He was a paranoid man, who trusted very few people. If anyone, at all. Dusty and her unit had gone out on one of these missions. “Fool's Errand” was probably the more accurate description. It was a hunt for a “Holy Weapon” to use against the General's enemies. Which was something that was even less clear than what they were looking for. This mission lead the unit into dangerous territory. When they were ambushed by Echoes, they were barely able to escape with their lives. But, in the confusion of battle, Dusty became separated from her team and lost in the desert. She had wandered in search of refuge and found supplies running low. And this would likely be the end of Dusty's story, had she not happened upon a party of Drifters. They were kind enough to take her in and offer protection from the elements and the hostile Echoes and Raiders that roamed the desert. And for a while, Dusty was happy to live with the Drifters. She found life to be much better. Introduced to this new community, renewed her sense of purpose. She found more people who needed protection. And with her skill set, Dusty was determined to do her part to provide that. However, Nevada was not the place where she would do it. There was increased activity from the scouting parties from the Dome. Dusty was not sure if they were off on more of those foolish quests from the General, but she couldn't take the chance. Her dereliction of duty was not going to win her much support. Former allies were likely to come as enemies. And her new friends were sure to suffer the consequences. Dusty would fight the entire military, herself, if need be. But, not at the cost of innocent lives. After giving her goodbyes, Dusty traveled north, on her own. The desert was a harsh terrain, but this time she was much better equipped for the journey. And as it nears it's end, Dusty is coming across another Dome...and another General... | [attr="class","sigh"]Dusty [attr="class","sigh"]Female [attr="class","sigh"]25 [attr="class","sigh"]Human [attr="class","sigh"]Drifter [attr="class","sigh"]Former Military [attr="class","sigh"]Nevada Dome Exile [attr="class","sigh"]Non-Romatic [attr="class","sigh"]Gunfighter [attr="class","sigh"]AmazingAkemi [attr="class","fall"]SAKURA TAISEN V; Gemini Sunrise - Dusty Dawson |
