I'm waking up, I feel it in my bones...

it was quiet, as it usually was. the sun was just barely starting to rise over the mountain tops, not that it mattered. the mountains were large, alarmingly so, and would always cast a rather large and dark shadow over the snowy landscape. the long dark, everywhere you looked there was shadow, unless it was straight up. many humans tried to live out here, to live on the four legged animals that no longer feared them, that had mutated and learned to live in their new environment. many perished. others were devoured. the humans had learned to stay away from the frozen landscape, at least most of them had. there were few that ventured so far into the cold, for one reason.


lazarus sat on his mountain, the cold seeping deep into his bones. he stared out into the distance, unblinking and unmoving. he enjoyed the scenery, he enjoyed the distant stench of humans moving at the edge of his domain. more than anything, he enjoyed the sight of a human moving slowly up his mountain, approaching him to no doubt make a pact. he stood slowly, an imposing figure backed by the freezing winds.

"what do you wish for?" was his deep and graveling question.

• you will plead your case to lazarus, and enter a contract with him
• you are limited to 2 light based abilities
• lazarus is the king of loopholes, remember to go through your contract thoroughly, or else he will find a way to devour you early.
• he will not be persuaded to have a contract last more than 5 years
