In a word, Celeste is pitiable. He's basically a wreck. To put it bluntly, he deals his own body to make a living. Sometimes there will be a more compassionate client looking for his company or his body for pleasure seeking or as an escape from the harsh reality of life. But these are far and few between. He's broken, lost that spark for life, just thinks he should die, disappear. Nobody ever treated him with dignity or respect, anyway. If you somehow treat him nicely, he'll be quite friendly and accommodating towards you. But you have to build up trust on your own. He won't go all the way with you until you prove he can trust you without you wanting to use him for something. Not like he was good for anything aside from his sex appeal, anyway

As long as you aren't out for his flesh you can be his friend. Just be nice, somewhat accommodating but not patronizing, and you should get on his good side. Honestly, his standards for entry as a friend aren't very high... He's so used to being treated like garbage in the first place. Of course to get to a point where you're his closer friend requires more effort. Celeste is looking for help, of course, help to become stronger, for the will and power to get himself out of his situation. Maybe someone who can help him to learn how to fend for himself... Yeah, that sounds like something Celeste needs desperately. A support network who can trust him outside of his aunt.

Celeste is broken. He's so used to being the target of sexual lust that pretty much you can ask him for 'favours' and he'd oblige just so you'd stop bugging him, of course unless you treated him differently. If you can help him to reignite his passion for life, maybe he can see someone as a 'lover.' Maybe. Very slim chance, considering he has a small degree of trust issues. He was the victim of rape when he was younger, so he finds it pretty difficult to see anyone as a 'lover.' A friend who would support him or help him out, sure? But as a lover... You'd need to work very hard for that.

Celeste is too subservient to make enemies out of others. And he's too weak inside, with a lack of self-confidence, to see enemies in anyone except for those military rats who ruined his life. Deep inside, he hates them. Yet he lacks the inner strength and will to actuate it, which results in this husk.
