MILITARY
DOME RESIDENTS
The ones who rule over the dome, and the ones who benefit most from it. It's easy enough to join since the lifespan of the average military personnel is very short due to the echo threat. They keep the dome as safe as possible and are in charge of rations passes and general police work. The system is very corrupt and many join the military to entertain a cushier lifestyle than that of the typical civilian. Most never leave the dome, and those that do have a 30% chance of survival.
REBELLION
OASIS RESIDENTS
Those who didn't agree with the military takeover of the dome, and decided to leave as a result. They try to work on cracking open the dome and getting the dome residents to realize that they are practically livestock waiting for slaughter. They think of themselves as the light in the dark, still working on a cure. They live in Oasis, an underground bunker hidden in a rabbit hole under a large tree that managed to survive the onslaught of nature. They are trained to deal with Echos and try to take as many alive as possible to experiment on.
CIVILIANS
DOME RESIDENTS
Residents of the dome who rely on the military for protection, or who can't manage to escape. Chances are if they were from outside the dome they'll never see the outside again. Abused by the military through ration shortages and harsh punishments not many can make an actual life in the dome. Many live in the slums which is quarantined often due to disease and death, though their discontent is quiet since the military is a constant presence. Ration cards are often used for currency.
DRIFTERS
NOMADS
Those who live outside the dome, and like it that way. Rather than rolling over and giving up their freedoms, whether out of pride or fear, they live in the wreck and ruins of old cities. Mostly scavengers many can be described as jumpy and vicious, fiercely protective of their belongings and distrustful of anyone and anything. Many have resorted to making pacts with Echos to survive.
